Joanna “Tara” Rocha graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and option in Business Law in 2009 with cum laude honors. Before becoming an attorney, she spent several years developing her career in law working as a legal assistant and paralegal before entering law school in 2013. She received her Juris Doctorate from University of West Los Angeles in 2016 graduating with cum laude honors.
Prior to joining Tancinco Law, Tara practiced extensively in the area of Workers’ Compensation defending employers, insurance carriers and governmental entities in all aspects of worker’s compensation. She joins Tancinco Law in the pursuit of helping immigrants and their families pursue their dreams of coming together and improving their livelihood with better opportunities here in the U.S. Tara is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
Tara was born and raised in Las Pinas, Manila, Philippines and speaks Tagalog fluently. She enjoys cooking, reading and spending time at home with her son, husband and their two cats.
