I want to know if I am undocumented. My wife and my 2 children arrived in the United States in 2000. In April 2001, my wife was petitioned by her U.S. Citizen brother under the 245-I. I have been working without legal authorization, but I have a social security number and I pay all my taxes as required by law.
Recently, I was asked to go to CBP to have my fingerprints taken for employment. I work for an airline contractor that requires access badges to enter the airport. Should I go through my fingerprinting with the CBP? Will my family and I get into trouble if I go through fingerprinting?
