A Pinoy Panawagan viewer sent us this question:
My concern attorney is my 23-year-old daughter who recently sent her DACA renewal to USCIS, but it was returned saying that they are no longer processing DACA. My daughter mailed it before the October 5th deadline but the letter enclosed with my daughter’s returned DACA renewal paperwork said that it was received in their office on October 10th.
Can we contest their receipt date vs. our mailing date? Or is there something else we can do? She’s almost done with her college course and she was looking forward to staying longer legally.
